What a year !

As Tabriz Consulting enters its third year of trading, we are able to look back with satisfaction on a second busy and successful year.   

Our client base includes pharmaceutical companies biotechnology companies and wholesale and distribution organisations and our consultants have been active on the conference circuit in Europe and the USA.

Cold Chain Consultant

 Afshin continues to be a recognised and respected authority on quality management aspects of Pharmaceutical distribution, in particular the “Cold Chain”.  He has addressed conferences on the subject on both sides of the Atlantic over the past three years and made a return visit to Philadelphia in October 2005 to present a workshop on "Cold Chain Process Assurance" at IQPC's 3rd Annual Conference.   Please click on "COMING SOON" to see a list of forthcoming presentations and workshops.

 New standard for primary packaging components! 

Afshin is a member of the UK committee which put together this brand new GMP standard for Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials - ISO 15738.

 

 

This standard is now effective.

What is it?

Based on published, certifiable standards from the UK , France and Germany, ISO 15378 is the first attempt to bring this collective experience in to the international arena. It is a complete, integrated, quality management system standard, combining ISO9001:2000 and GMP for Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials.

 

Insight
July 2005 saw the launch of our "Insight" initiative for on-site training. In 2006 we successfully conducted six training programmes for clients in the UK and mainland Europe.  Nearly 100 participants have now benefitted from the expertise of acknowledged industry experts within their own workplace.

The "Insight" scheme provides an opportunity to have five employees trained at your own premises by an acknowledged industry expert for less than it might cost to send one person to a major conference!

In addition we aim to ensure that the content and scope of the course is tailored to the current needs of the organisation and that the material delivered is targeted to the training needs and learning objectives of the individual participants. 

Our team of consultant tutors is able to share extensive, practical experience over a broad range of subject areas.

VALIDATION
Afshin's recent paper in on validation of packaging lines in "American Pharmaceutical Outsourcing" raised some interesting points regarding the justification of validation exercises.
